Today, January 20, 2012, I would like to acknowledge one of the first friends Houston provided to me. Mr. Ray Barnett, Entrepreneur and Super Club Owner, Husband, Father and Friend to many in the Entertainment Business and those with a clean heart.

Houston Reporter Darryl Linden sent this text concerning Mr. Ray Barnett:

Ray Barnett, my concert promotions mentor and the man who taught Al Hayman the promoter game, who was the First Black Man to own a “mega supper club” for wealthy whites, was a father figure to Charles Bush and gave him his first job in the club game. And the First Black Man Elvis’ Colonel ever let do an Elvis Concert. Mr Barnett was a larger than life figure who owned 27 clubs and over 50 classic luxury vehicles.

He will be memorialized today in Houston, TX, Taylor’s Night Club at noon…he is a true American Black Entertainment Legend!

When famed ‘Star Wars’ screen writer, director & producer George Lucas makes an action movie complete with heroes, underdogs, action scenes, aerial stunts, with a ton of CGI and special effects – you think, “oh yeah – that’ll be a blockbuster,” and you assume it’ll be in wide release nationwide – easily a megahit!

But, when the movie was finally ready for production, no production company would take it; as a result, George Lucas had to write a check. After movie production was completed, no distribution company would take it. So, George Lucas wrote another check.

It’s George Lucas’ version of the story of the brave Tuskegee Airmen, 20 years in the making, and has a predominantly Black cast, all the main actors are Black. Who were the Tuskegee Airmen and why is their story so amazing?

The Tuskegee Airmen were the first African American military aviators in the United States armed forces. This was World War II folks – the most widespread war in history (with more than 100 million military personnel mobilized)….you know the one with Hitler, the Holocaust……. There’ve been literally hundreds of movies about the stories of all the people of non-color. During World War II, African Americans in many U.S. states still were subject to the heinous Jim Crow laws. The Tuskegee Airmen were subject to racial discrimination, both within and outside the very army in which they served. Despite these adversities, they trained and flew with distinction. This is the first (only) movie about the stories of African Americans involved in World War II.

The Tuskegee Airmen division earned three Distinguished Unit Citations (DUC) during World War II. The DUC’s were for operations at Pantelleria and Tunisia from May 30 – June 11, 1943, Monastery Hill near Cassino from May 12–14, 1944, and for successfully fighting off German jet aircraft on March 24, 1945. The mission was the longest bomber escort mission throughout the war. The 332nd also flew missions in Sicily, Anzio, Normandy, the Rhineland, the Po Valley and Rome-Arno and others. Pilots of the 99th once set a record for destroying 5 enemy aircraft in less than 4 minutes.

Awards and decorations awarded for valor and performance included:

Three Distinguished Unit Citations

99th Pursuit Squadron: 30 May–11 June 1943 for the capture of Pantelleria, Italy

99th Fighter Squadron: 12–14 May 1944: for successful air strikes against Monte Cassino, Italy

332d Fighter Group: 24 March 1945: for the longest bomber escort mission of World War II

At least one Silver Star

An estimated one hundred and fifty Distinguished Flying Crosses

14 Bronze Stars

744 Air Medals

Eight Purple Hearts

The Tuskegee Airmen compiled the following combat records:

261 aircraft destroyed

148 aircraft damaged

15,533 sorties

1,578 missions

66 Killed in Action

95 Distinguished Flying Crosses awarded

450 Pilots sent overseas

OK, you’ve got the picture – these were talented, intelligent, brave Black men with an amazing story – who deserve all praise and recognition but, whom the film industry has decided are not a profitable subject, worthy of investment of time or money.

So, I urge you to make the effort to go on opening day – SEE THE MOVIE – make your voice heard!!!

The nationwide opening is Friday – January 20th

All the best,

Some of my colleagues and I have discussed the future of how to assist business with the learning curve in social networking.

The information and forecast for 2012 according to Star Group 1 CEO Linda Rosanio, according to Steve Olinski Business

2 Community…

Prediction: The Web is Dying a Slow Death

But the Internet is going strong. Today’s marketers need to lead the charge in new technology, engagement strategies and optimization of campaigns based on data. It’s “Synegrated.” That’s how we describe it. In any typical day, we are engaging without the web. Apps, apps and more apps—Facebook, Twitter Skype, IM, Pandora and streaming Netflix videos. Consumers aren’t rejecting the web—they are choosing to use dedicated platforms because they just work better.

Prediction: The iPad will be the Most Important Device since the IBM PC

Why? First it makes the computer experience transparent to the user. When we use the iPad, we don’t feel like we are using a computer. Second, the iPad will firmly plant us in the ear of touch computing. For decades, computer scientists have known that touch is a far more natural way to interact with computers. And finally, most of the time we are on computers, we’re consuming information, not creating it. The iPad is optimized for consumption, accommodating 70 percent of what we actually do on computer—from the comfort zones of our couches, our beach loungers, wherever!

Prediction: Television as We Know It is Over

There will still be a screen in our living rooms, bedrooms and throughout our homes. But we will be able to track usage since the device will also be a computer or have Internet connection. With almost 70% of video consumed onInternet connected devices, revenue models for television advertising will change. Once televisions are computers, analytics of who watches will get more accurate than Nielsen panels. With actual measurement, ad rates will adjust because the numbers aren’t as rosy as Nielsen makes them look. Newspapers felt it first and television will experience a similar shift in revenue models.

Steve Olenski is the Creative Director of Digital Services for The Star Group, a marketing communications firm dedicated to driving engagement with B2B and B2C brands operating in today’s hyper-competitive, rapidly evolving digital marketplace.

Brendon Burchard of Experts Academy is having an advance level marketing conference 10X New York City, New York April 9-11, 2012. If you plan to become one of the players, like Ms Rosanio, then you will need to be educated on the steps. I hope to see you in New York…

Happy New Year…

Natalie J

P.S. I will use this blog to share On-line Marketing articles and tips!

Here are excerpt from

The TEN Commandments of Social Media Content:

The Information Tsunami

At a conference in 2010 Eric Schmidt the then CEO of Google stated

“Every two days, we create as much information as we did from the dawn of civilization up until 2003”

This information includes content such as emails, tweets, Facebook updates, Photos, YouTube video uploads and text messages.

Social networks have largely contributed to this tidal wave of information and content

Videos Uploaded to YouTube – 48 hours of Video uploaded every minute and YouTube receives 3 billion views per day

Photos Uploaded to Facebook – 250 million photos are uploaded to Facebook every day

Tweets on Twitter – 200 million tweets per day

Email – Over 100 trillion emails a year or more than 300 billion emails a day

Text Messages in 2011 – more than 7 trillion

Many teens are averaging over 3,000 text messages per month.

Much of this is content is not of great quality in fact it is estimated that 89% of all emails are spam.

So as a Social Media marketer, business owner or CEO, how do you harness, focus and take advantage of this information and content “Tsunami” By Jeff Bullas, Published January 4, 2012 Business 2 Community.

The 10 Commandments of Content

Here are 10 building blocks that you need to include in your plans for marketing your business on an increasingly social and mobile web.

1. Get Focused

Who are you speaking to? Provide content that communicates with your customers and prospects in a language they understand.

2. Create Goals for your Content

What are you trying to achieve– capture emails, provide leads, nuture prospects or improve your visibility to search engines.

Do you want to make the content so entertaining that it makes your brand memorable and remarkable and do you want the message to become viral. A funny video may achieve this.

When designing your content make sure it is not content for contents sake, but is assisting you in growing your business

3. Become a Publisher

The democratisation of publishing and marketing means that you now don’t have to wait for your local printer to print off 10,000 marketing brochures and then organise them to be letter boxed .

Now you can write a blog article, email it to your “opt in” subscribers, tweet the link to your Twitter followers and promote it on Facebook.

4. Solve Problems

Everyone has problems and helping your customers and prospects solve them will take them from interested readers to raving fans. Write content that shows people how to fix their problems that are relevant to your industry and market.

5. Include Calls to Action

Don’t forget to include calls to action with your content. It could be to subscribe, share or register for an eBook or whitepaper.

Creating small calls to action will lead prospects towards the ultimate goal for any business and that is to put some money down or place an order.

6. Talk like a Human

Corporate speak was invented by copy writers but a while back people started switching off.

Being “Authentic” is the new black and being real is the “new marketing” that is a message that cuts through

7. Show What Works

Case studies that “show” how your product is used are much more effective than “telling“. Create content that showcases how other customers are using your product and services to achieve success.

Nothing like a bit of “social proof” to create credibility, trust and action.

8. Have some Fun

The original 10 commandments didn’t mention having fun but it helps enormously to present you and your company as having a sense of humour. This doesn’t mean making every piece of content a comedy act but lighten up and show your other side.

Orabrush YouTube Video – This companies use of humour and social media helped them sell 1 million toothbrushes that reduces bad breath

9. Publish Everywhere

Publishing was expensive and just placing an ad in your local newspaper could cost you thousands.

Now you can publish on dozens of social networks at no cost within minutes. Despite there being thousands of social networks, publish on the social media channels that are used by your customers.

Make your content ubiquitous – place it everywhere from hub (blog or website) to outposts (Facebook, YouTube and Twitter) where your customers hangout!

10. Create Multi-Media

Not everyone likes reading, in fact the younger generation generally reads and views content in many formats including online videos on YouTube. The social web is about rich multi-media that engages interest and communicates visually and not just the “written word“.

Publish your content in several different formats and media types that your customers will like and enjoy. Some examples of these are video, audio (podcast), photos, whitepaper, info-graphics and eBooks. by Jeff Bullas

I want those in my market to become aware of this information and this blogger Jeff Bullas. Great information…

Two Catholic dioceses in Northern Ireland are preparing to publish major reports into historical child abuse.

The Diocese of Raphoe, in Donegal, is to publish a much anticipated report next week.

However, the BBC has learned that separate reviews will also be published into child welfare in the dioceses of Derry and Dromore.

All three reports have been conducted by the National Board for Safeguarding Children in the Catholic Church.

The Safeguarding Board helps to protect children in the Catholic Church from being abused by priests or anyone else.

It was set up because of various child abuse scandals.

The board is now reviewing every diocese in the country, examining what was done wrong in the past.

Notorious paedophileIts most eagerly awaited report is probably that into the Diocese of Raphoe, which covers most of County Donegal.

It is where one of Ireland’s most notorious paedophile priests, Eugene Greene, abused more than 20 boys over 20 years.

While the Raphoe report has been expected, little was known about other dioceses including those in Northern Ireland.

Now it has emerged that two other reports will also be published next week – one into the Diocese of Derry and the other into Dromore, which covers parts of south Down and Armagh.

The Raphoe, Derry and Dromore reviews could track back as far as 1975, providing details of how these three dioceses have dealt with child abuse since the mid-1970s and, how they deal with it now.

If they come up short on current child protection procedures, they will be told.

The retired Bishop of Derry Seamus Hegarty is expected to be in the spotlight following the publications next week.

He was bishop in Raphoe during the 1980s and early 90s while Eugene Greene was abusing boys in the diocese.

Questions are expected to arise over how Green was managed.

As the Derry Diocese prepares to publish its own report next week, a new diocesan administrator has been appointed, pending the appointment of a new bishop.

He is Monsignor Eamon Martin, a former head of

St Colm’s College in the city.

Some of these stories are surreal…

Nov 25, 2011
BBC New US

The day after Thanksgiving in America heralds the start of the holiday shopping season

The US holiday shopping season is off to a nasty start with several shootings and two pepper-sprayings as bargain-hunters stampeded stores.

The violence gave a whole new meaning to Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving when many retailers move out of the red and into the black.

The incidents, including at least two robberies, mostly took place at branches of the store chain Walmart.

Half of the entire US population is expected to hit the shops this weekend.

Many stores had crowds rushing in as they opened at midnight – several hours earlier than they usually do – on the busiest shopping day of the year.

Gunfire

The openings were mostly peaceful, apart from several ugly scenes:

A man is in a stable but critical condition in hospital after being shot in the early hours as he left a Walmart with a group of people in San Leandro, California, when they resisted two armed robbers who demanded their purchases

Police are reviewing CCTV as they look for a woman who left 20 people with minor injuries when she used pepper spray as shoppers rushed to buy Xboxes at a Los Angeles area Walmart on Thursday evening

A man was reportedly detained for resisting arrest after a fight at the jewellery counter in the early hours at a Walmart in Kissimmee, Florida

Police are looking for two suspects after gunfire erupted early on Friday at a shopping centre in Fayetteville, North Carolina; there were no reports of injuries

Security workers reportedly used pepper spray on shoppers who began grabbing at goods before they were unloaded from pallets at a Walmart in Kinston, North Carolina

A woman was shot in the foot by a robber as she loaded her purchases into her car in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; the gunman fled as one of the victim’s companions brandished a revolver and fired warning shots

Bargain-hunters were lured by an array of so-called door-buster deals of up to 70% off on big-screen televisions, video games and toys.

Occupy Black Friday

Target, Best Buy and Macy’s were among the stores that opened at midnight, while Gap and Toys R Us opened on Thanksgiving itself.

Occupy Wall Street protesters called for a boycott of Macy’s

Protests were planned in a number of cities urging people to boycott national chains on Black Friday.

Several Occupy activists demonstrated outside New York’s flagship Macy’s, but they could not put off more than 9,000 people who had queued for the store’s midnight opening.

Nelson Sepulveda, a New York building superintendent, was the first in line at a Manhattan Best Buy store having queued for 28 hours before it opened.

He wanted to get his hands on a 42-in LCD television for $200 (£130) and other items, the Reuters news agency reported.

For the past six years, a combination of increasingly early opening times and enticing deals have helped make the day after Thanksgiving the biggest shopping day in the US.

About 152 million people were expected to visit stores in search of bargains this weekend – up 10% from last year – according to the National Retail Federation (NRF).

Crowds thronged the Thanksgiving parade in New York

Consumer spending accounts for about 70% of US economic activity, so economists will be watching the retail bonanza closely.

Between 25-40% of annual US retail sales take place during November and December.

Analysts say a powerful start to the shopping season could cheer employment prospects in the retail sector, which supports about a quarter of all jobs in the US.

Retail hiring for the season has still not yet rebounded to its 2005 pre-recession peak of 642,000 workers, according to the NRF

Through my video “The children of Dadaab: Life through the Lens” I wanted to tell the story of the Somali children living in Kenya’s Dadaab. Living in the world’s largest refugee camp, they are the ones bearing the brunt of Africa’s worst famine in sixty years.

I wanted to see if I could tell their story through a different lens, showing their daily lives instead of just glaring down at their ribbed bodies and swollen eyes.

It was a challenging project. As one senior photographer asked, how else can we tell the story without showing images that clearly illustrate the plight of the starving millions? Few photographs cover all aspects of life in the camps.

Many of Dadaab’s children are dying. And then there are others who, despite living in the world’s oldest refugee camp, embrace their childhood; they play, go to school, care for their siblings and collect water for their families. I wanted to incorporate all of these aspects of life for Dadaab’s children into this project.

To tell the story, I combined Reuters photography captured during the height of the famine with footage I had collected when I was in Dadaab six months ago, before the severity of the crisis hit international headlines.

The point is, when news of the famine made it to the front pages, the children I had filmed in Dadaab were now only perceived as children on the frontline of famine. Not just as children who were excited with the furor we brought to the camp.

Makwaj Adol Malek has a problem – and it’s one shared by hundreds of thousands of South Sudanese living in the north.

Their region has become an independent country – and they face losing their Sudanese nationality, and maybe much more, because of the split.

“South Sudan’s independence has created problems for me,” Mr Malek says.

“I feel I am in danger. When I take public transport people tell me ‘your brothers have left – what are you doing here?’”

“But I tell them I have a pension and rights here.”

Mr Malek was born in Khartoum around half a century ago and worked as a teacher and a soldier.

He speaks Arabic, not English, the new official language of South Sudan.

All the same, he is one of thousands of South Sudanese gathered at a train station in the Khartoum suburbs, waiting for a ride home.

Bed-frames and cooking pots are piled up next to the station as people move their whole lives to a place they may not even have seen.

“I did not decide to go back to the south, but the government told me ‘your part of Sudan has decided to become an independent state, so you have nothing here,’” Malek explains.

He will take his family to his ancestral home, a place he scarcely knows, and then come back to Khartoum in an attempt to get his pension.

No choice but to leave

A few kilometres away along paved roads cutting through the desert, 545 Southern Sudanese are living rough under the hot sun.

Even if I lose my Sudanese nationality, it is not a problem, I am going. There is no future for me in the north”

End Quote Jerome

They left their homes in December and are still waiting for the money they say they have been promised to take buses back to the south.

They have made houses out of anything they can find – bits of wood and old clothes and towels.

Magbula Osman is a chief, and is pushed forward by the residents of the improvised tent town to talk on their behalf.

“They are poor people, tired people with no money and they don’t know what to do,” she says.

“Their children are out of school since they were told they would be taken back home.

“People are living in complete misery, with nothing to eat.”

She and others here blame both Khartoum and the new government in Juba, saying both have responsibilities to get them to South Sudan.

But all insist they have no choice but to leave Khartoum.

“I am South Sudanese,” says Jerome. “Even if I lose my Sudanese nationality, it is not a problem, I am going. There is no future for me in the north.”

‘Thank you Khartoum’

Of course, not all Southern Sudanese here are in such a difficult situation.

Sudanese officials have made it clear dual nationality will not be an option

Banguang Tap, a young opposition politician, lives in relative comfort.

The sofas in his living room are comfortable and he can watch Southern Sudan TV via a satellite dish.

“Those who came to Khartoum got educated here and engaged themselves in the Khartoum lifestyle,” he says.

“You cannot say they do not belong to Khartoum, they belong to Khartoum in all senses.

“Khartoum received us during the war so we say thank you Khartoum!”

All the same, he and his friends intend to go to South Sudan.

They believe that as the south has seceded, they can no longer consider themselves Sudanese.

That opinion will soon become fact.

No dual nationality

The national assembly has agreed on a draft law that removes Sudanese nationality from anyone the authorities consider South Sudanese.

“When our government acknowledged the secession, that means all southerners living in the north will not have a right to enjoy northern nationality,” explained Rabie Abdelati, a senior official at the ministry of information.

“This does not mean they will be all deprived of nationality, but their situations will be looked at on a case by case basis.”

The law still needs to be signed off by the president, who would retain the right to restore Sudanese nationality to those who have lost it.

But Sudanese officials have already made it clear dual nationality will not be an option.

It seems likely that South Sudanese will be able to acquire some sort of residency right.

But the current situation is very unclear.

At the moment foreigners cannot own property in Sudan, which means losing their Sudanese nationality would be a big problem for the wealthier South Sudanese here.

Senior presidential adviser Nafie Ali Nafie has said there will be a nine-month transitional period for individuals to sort out their situation.

But in a country where many people do not have the correct papers this will be tricky.

I see my nationality as Sudanese, not northern or southern”

End Quote Makwaj Adol Malek

Then there is the issue of those truly caught between two countries.

Mohamed Nour’s grandmother was a Dinka from South Sudan, and the rest of his family is northern.

He was hired as a southerner in the civil service, as part of a peace deal, and then lost his job once the south became independent.

“It is a very bad thing. It is just like you are dividing one person into two,” he says.

But if politics took his job away, what about his Sudanese passport?

“I don’t think I will lose my nationality. Practically it is very hard to take people’s citizenship away.”

All the same, the status of those with parental links to Sudan and South Sudan is still very unclear.

‘Not northern or southern’

It is estimated there are 800,000 to one million South Sudanese in Sudan.

Since last autumn a further 300,000 have already made their way to South Sudan.

Many more are likely to follow.

“Many people were born here, they’ve got their lives here, they’ve got their children in school, they’ve got many reasons to remain here actually,” says Peter de Clerq, the Sudan representative for the UN’s refugee body UNHCR.

“But for them, with the withdrawal of the nationality and very high bar that has been set for maintaining their status its going to be very difficult to maintain themselves here.

“So they may not have much of a choice in the long term.”

Back at the train station, Mr Malek’s dilemma is one felt by many.

“I feel like I belong to both countries.

“I’m grateful to the north because I am born here. I see it as my village.

“But I still love the south. I see my nationality as Sudanese, not northern or southern.”

Unfortunately for Mr Malek, that is no longer reality.

A dozen people have been arrested, including members of the army and police, officials said.

Ms Persad-Bissessar blamed the alleged plot on “criminal elements” acting in “reprisal” for a state of emergency she declared in August.

She said her government was in control, with the security forces on full alert.

‘Treason’Police and government officials in the Caribbean nation have released few details of the alleged plot, saying they did not want to jeopardise ongoing investigations.

She said she was not surprised that “criminal elements” were bent on “reprisals”.

But the prime minister said the threat would not deter her government from pursuing its campaign against crime and insecurity.

Ms Persad-Bissessar said the state of emergency, which gives the security forces sweeping powers to make arrests, was working.

She said more than 7,000 people had been arrested and large quantities of drugs and firearms seized.

She also reminded Trinidadians of a coup attempt in 1990, when a local Islamist group tried to overthrow the government.

“We have no evidence of this so-called assassination plot,” Vincent Cabrera, head of the Banking, Insurance and General Workers Union, told the AFP news agency.

Tempers are running high in the mountains of Cajamarca

Thousands of people in northern Peru have protested against plans for a huge open-cast goldmine in the high Andes.

People in the Cajamarca region say the proposed Conga mine will cause pollution and destroy water supplies.

The US-based mining company Newmont has promised modern reservoirs to replace threatened mountain lakes.

The dispute is a test for President Ollanta Humala, who has promised to continue mining development while protecting affected communities.

Mining is the main engine of Peru’s booming economy, but it is also the cause of numerous social conflicts around the country.

The $4.8bn (£3.1bn) Conga project would be the biggest mining investment in the country’s history.

On foot and on horseback, rural protesters climbed to four high mountain lakes whose waters would be moved to make way for the gold mine.

There were also protests in the regional capital, Cajamarca, 160km (100 miles) away, where schools and businesses closed and buses stopped running.

Previous protests have involved some sabotage of machinery, and the mining camp is closely guarded by police.

ConsultationLocals say plans to replace the lakes with artificial reservoirs are inadequate.

There are also fears that pollution from the mine could affect agriculture and livestock.

The company behind the project – the Newmont Mining Corporation – says its plans have been drawn up in consultation with local communities and meet the highest environmental standards.

It says the Conga mine – which it owns jointly with a Peruvian company – will generate thousands of jobs.

Newmont also runs the nearby Yanacocha mine – Latin America’s biggest gold mine – which has also been the focus of environmental protests.

Peru’s left-wing President, Ollanta Humala, has approved the Conga mine, which would be a major source of government revenue, but this stance has been criticised by some of his supporters.

Mr Humala was elected in June after promising to ensure poor Peruvians saw more benefit from the development of the country’s natural resources.

Since taking office he has also increased taxes on mining companies and given indigenous communities the right to be consulted about development on their land.

The reason people have removed the true name of locations, towns, Islands, people, government agencies, spiritual leaders, GOD—was just to keep you away from knowing your truth. This is my belief!

When Gwyneth Paltrow was searching her ancestry, she found a connection between herself and her great grand father, who was from the European Block. In a small town’s archive, Gwyneth, with the assistance from the librarian, was able to share a phenomenal story about her great grandfather’s spiritual belief and power.

He must have comprehended the names and commands for the natural forces, wind, earth, water and fire. One day when Mother Nature was striking fear into the residents of his small village. The people ran to Gwyneth’s great grandfather for protection.

As the librarian described…he walked to his balcony, said a few words, made a few gestures with his hand and went back inside. Within moments, there was clamness.

Gwyneth smiled and commented…know wonder she has a “flair for the Kabala?Qabala. No person has a “flair” , when you have an interest in this area, it is usually coming from your ancestoral lineage.

What if…we truly knew our ancestors and what gifts they had to offer…do you think during these challenging times we would know “What” to do for peace of mind, “How” to avoid danger and know “how to protect yourself and your family?

Would you know the best place for you to reside or what schools your children should attend? What job you should take based on you reaching your true destiny?

“Ah”…I bet you probably never thought of that—your true destiny. Everyone has a true destiny.

Look at King David from the Bible. (I love him, he is so colorful.) I would imagine, when he was watching his father’s flock in the desert…just the sheep, David, a fewpacks of wolves, a few snakes and plenty of rocks to keep him company; he never thought his life would be in the process of changing.

Then, one day a man, who happens to be a Prophet (hmm what a profession) visits David’s father seeking the next King of Israel. I am sure you are aware of this portion of the story. They send for David and when he was noticed by the Prophet…his was annointed with oils and was told his new destiny. His true destiny. (What do you think his syblings felt about that?)

I mention David for a reason. Eventhought David was promised the throne, it was not going to be that easy to acquire. David loved King Saul and at first so did Saul love David. However, as David matured, he knew, one day the throne of Israel would be David’s. This presented a major problem. So he decided to kill David.

You know this portion of the story as well. What I want you to look at is this…

David was broken down to nothingness, he and his small band of close friends, warriors, who believed in him and wanted him to succeed ran for safety. The word that will described this journey is ZIGLAG research that word in the Bible…you may follow the links from Joshua 19:5.

In our present day, David was homeless. People he thought were friends or family were plotting his demise. There were very few people who he could turn to for supplies, food , money, clothing and shelter. David cried to the Lord for protection, as I am sure you have…however, David knew the sacred name of The Most High, Olodumare, Allah, Yeweh, GOD—to call for strength.

He must have felt deserted at times, because scripture says David said, “Why have you forsaken me”…(as Jesus, who is from David’s lineage would do.) Read some of his psalms.

David had to believe, what he was experiencing and where he was headed as part of his destiny… and an illusion. To get him to stop and believe the outter appearance, then all would be lost. He has been stripped down to nothingness.

You have been stripped down to nothingness and so have I. But, it is at that moment when you find that “light from within” and you call on The Most High, Olodumare, Yeweh, Allah, GOD (your name)— for your path to be Cleared…All delays and obstacles removed from your external and internal path.

You focus your thoughts and inner/outter vision and RUN towards your Goal. Fearless for you know, as King David did, that you are a Blessing from THE MOST HIGH, OLODUMARE, ALLAH, YEWEH, GOD (your name) or the name your ancestors provided.

You walk through each battle and know that you are emerging as the victor of this lesson—and the Master of Your Self!

In Egypt, above the doorway enterance to the schools reads: KNOW THY SELF—and To THY SELF BE TRUE.

OK, this thought was longer than I had intended….

Remember David when he was on the run from King Saul. Remember how close he came to King Saul and taking his life…however, he left a cloth to let the ruler know that David was that close.

Leave your cloth next to those who wanted your death…(death can take on many colours).

Leave your cloth and like David return to your path…your destiny and become the King or Queen of your life and watch your Blessings flow to you…just like King David…

Got to love that bad boy!!!

What if…you knew the name that your ancestors used to manifest their greatness and conquer life’s lessons? You would be a powerful person, today.

P> Thanks Gwyneth!

What are you thinking when a person (teenager/pre-teenager, co-worker) presents that “blank stare?”

Have you ever looked into the eyes of that person and saw a face staring back and you wonder “why????”

Your thought: She/he can not be serious—you really want me to play that game with you?!#

Then you calculate: Now let me see…do I have the time (meaning “years”) to play this—plus, do I want to play. Especially since you would much prefer to wonder around the museum today and just absorb nature and fun. Or, maybe, I would much rather watch a National Geographic Documentary focusing on the sea, life in the Sahara anything but standing there wasting your and my precious time.

You might decide that “no body is at home” because “no body wants to be at home.” You see if that person actually show up, they would now be responsible for their actions, and would not be allow to prevaricate the true answer to your thoughtful question.

I believe most people forget…we all have the same 24 hrs in a day to do what we deem important and necessary for our development and future.

Standing around while you decipher what invention of prevarication you wish to create to justify the reason why you do not wish to speak cohesively and honestly, has nothing to do with me. I do appreciate you take that game—somewhere else.

My time is of value to me…for example, I would much rather write on my blog about the stupidity of your actions!

Have a great time!

We are being lead to believe, bundle your services and you save money.

Let’s review: Phone, Internet, Cable…all for a wonderful low price??? But, what if you can not pay the cable and would like to continue your service using the phone and internet to continue working. Maybe, your job requires more telephone and internet service then say…cable. Your thought at the time of the offer was—”I can not let this deal go by.!”

OK…In the home. You have electricity as the base of all your appliances…even the stove. During these times when employers are struggling to make payroll. You are given a turn off notice by your favorite electrical company. So that now places you in a very precarious situation…now you have no lights, no stove, no phone service and of course, no cable and no internet.

I remember a time when, you could receive a turn off notice for your light bill…or arrive home and find your light are off. Run to the phone and call Mom and Dad for emergency funds…and pay the bill on the way to work in the morning…or at least negotiate to pay the bill while you are drinking a freshly made cup of coffee and eating a toasted muffin.

Woo…things have changed.

Welcome to the New Way of Life!
